Bartenders

We are currently looking for 1 experienced bartenders.


Job Responsibilities

  • Take, prepare and serve all bar orders for beverages and/or food placed by guests and servers
  • Personally welcome each guest, communicate with them and make them feel appreciated
  • Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the bar glasses, utensils, bar equipment, bar and billiard areas
  • Perform all applicable opening, mid-day or closing preparation, cleaning and maintenance duties according to the requirements of your shift
  • Peform duties of Server, in a back-up function as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned and/or directed by management

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Alcohol Seller/Server Certified
  • Minimum of 6 months prior job experience with cash handling and customer interaction responsibilities is preferred
  • Basic math, money handling, reading skills
  • Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational ability; ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions
  • Possess good customer relations abilities, outgoing and friendly manner, courteous and cooperative attitude, team oriented
  • Knowledge of food and beverage specifications and workplace safety procedures
  • Well groomed and neat appearance
Servers

We aim to hire 4 servers that take orders and serves food and beverages to guests at Cyra’s.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request; inform guests of daily specials
  • Memorize or write guests’ food orders on order slips, and enter orders into POS system for transmittal to kitchen staff
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
  • Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any issues
  • Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes; collect payments from guests
  • Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a fine dining environment
  • Must understand, read, write and speak the English language
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have the ability to deliver a highly energetic restaurant story line while maintaining essential job functions
  • Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers
  • Must have the ability to work days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Must possess customer and personal service skills
  • Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Must be able to work in high pressure situations with a pleasant and professional demeanor
